About The Event

North East Dance Championship (NEDC) is a mega dance reality show where contestants from across the Northeast showcase their talent through multiple competition rounds and are evaluated by a panel of judges. The show is televised on NKTV and Spondon TV on an episode basis. The competition features Solo and Junior categories with a total prize pool of ₹10 lakh. It is mentored and judged by Surajit Nath and Faruk Ahmed. Participants must register and submit a dance video to qualify for the next round. Terms & Condition

  • It is mandatory to show the pass from the app to ensure participation in the competition.
  • No screenshot or camera-captured pass will be entertained.
  • Registration does not guarantee selection for the audition. Selection is at the sole discretion of the organizer.
  • A dance recording video is required to qualify for the next round.
  • The video duration should be between 2 and 2.5 minutes.
  • The audio and video quality must be clear.
  • The background should be a single colour, preferably white.
  • The video must be submitted within 10 days of registration via WhatsApp at +91 84730 43404 or by email to northeastdancechampionship@gmail.com.
  • The participant's name, registration ID and registered mobile number must be shared along with the video.
  • Selected participants will be informed by the organizer via phone call or email.
  • Selected participants must be present at the audition venue to perform.
  • Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled audition. Late entry will not be permitted.
  • The applicant or guardian waives any right to challenge the selection process or the selection/non-selection of any participant.
  • Travel, food and accommodation expenses shall be borne by the participant.
  • Registration fees are processed through the app. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Baahi acts solely as the registration platform and is not responsible for the organization, conduct or management of the competition.
  • These terms and conditions are subject to change at the discretion of the organizer.
